just another day...
typical normal sunday.. my body aches from breaking class.. the knee drops n scissors spins.. the body aches indicate that im old.. n weak.. i need to have more strength so i can do breaking..
one week free trial pass.. looking at mtv, street jazz, j/k-pop, girls hh.. and breaking! but den again it depends on whether i have time this month to go.. exam period.. yet i aint suffering from exam fever... yet...
test this fri but it's halloween eve tmr.. damn.. should i go party or should i stay home n mug? decisions decisions.. no costume but i cant wear my bdae outfit n pose as a retro chick.. or wear my cedar or veejay uniform.. it'll be cool.. hmm tmr den decide lar..

firstly.. thanks to shim jus n jon for getting me home safely last nite.. :P and *points finger at adam!* all ur fault! grrr....
nonetheless.. dawn's bdae celebration last nite was great~ heh each of the girls had a flaming each.. woot~ plus we had dj milkz.. unfortunately i barely danced.. just sat there n stoned.. haha.. but yeah managed to get home safely thanks to my dearie shim.. with the help of the driver n the helper.. lol.. apologies to har n chalk though..
dragged myself outta bed at 10 this morn and got my ass down to studio wu.. took breaking class with elson tracy n nadine.. it's quite fun actualli! heh learnt a few techniques which looks damn difficult but actualli not that hard to execute.. hee.. but must practise.. n it was more tiring den expected..
next up was ryan's street jazz class! one of the best classes ever! except for the maluating part where ryan asked mi to shake my ass in front of the whole class.. everything else was fun.. v v diff way of teaching as compared to pat.. guess im more used to pat's style.. but ryan is so so comical and nice! love the way he teaches.. free 1 week trail pass to 5 classes! im gonna take all of ryan's classes! heh street jazz.. mtv.. what not.. n maybe one more breaking.. something diff from the usual hiphop i've been doing.. :) something fresh n i like it! hee..
so urops presentation totally sucked.. couldnt realli ans the qns but my prof was realli nice.. :) im so thankful for him.. he realli treats me v v well.. *grin* had blast last class.. shiok ar.. i loved the choreo.. but i tink the poor juniors were like dying.. they were struggling to keep up.. but it's good training.. push push push n soon u'll be able to get the steps..
den it was blast 4th anni! hee.. the yummylicious chocolate cake.. performances by the juniors.. photo taking.. gather gather of blastards.. *grin* i heart blast!! my big happi family!!!!!
so wed marked the end of my full ownage of baby six.. but it was good while it lasted.. :) heh..

urops presentation in a few hours time.. damn low morale.. n someone just made it that lil bit harder.. sigh..
the weekend's been great.. started off with coffee at starbucks.. ended up with a fun filled nite at zouk's reopening party.. dun understand why 6 million was spent.. i prefer the old zouk.. the deco inside phuture resembled that of coco latte.. n i dun see much extra space for dancing.. nonetheless.. the lightings did make the place look that tad bit brighter.. new flooring too i think.. din realli see properly.. the new seats at phuture were uncomfy to sit on.. maybe that's the whole idea of it.. to get pple to the dance floor.. i dunno..
but.. the company was great.. thanks to jobyna, johnny, cai, greg, ian, eugene, anna, anna's bro + fren, victor.. err i cant rem who else was there.. kev n his frens.. matthew n his fren.. ryan n frens.. lionel, harold n chok.. spent the later half of the nite with johnny's gay frens.. haha that was the highlight of the nite i tell u.. they were so super funny.. even battled one of them to beyonce's shake.. too dark to see who won.. super a lot of jugs of beer.. found out that 2 of them.. bobby and ritz are gonna open the much-talked-about butter factory.. and even tracy phillips was there.. haha being gay has its perks eh.. so for once in my life.. i was clubbing with high profile people.. cool or wad! :P oh ya even saw fiona xie there.. n i heard she was kissing a small boy.. hahahaha
sat was even better.. chillin at walas with shim dawn yoon nikki job n johnny.. tried stella artois.. n decided i should just stick to hoegarden in future.. since i was driving i onli had 1/2 pint.. the calamari n wings were damn yummy.. n desert at nydc was even better.. :P after which we all decidd to head down to my place.. so equipped with ice cream, potato chips and other junk food.. all 7 of us squeezed into my baby 6 n we breezed thru the nite back to my lowly abode.. poor baby 6 had to work extra hard.. imagine revving at 3000 and only getting like barely 90 km/h.. bleahz.. that sucked up petrol too.. opened the bottle of champagne too :) a nice lil cosy gathering.. i like~
sun: managed to wake up in time for church.. joined justin n his family as he saw me alone.. den headed down to sch to pia the remains of the lab report..
mon: first to school.. den to town.. far east chicken rice is still as yummy! and i bot accessories for my nano! so happi :) shim, dawn n yoon bot stuffs from the closet affair.. the clothes were realli nice.. but i refrained from trying on anithing so i wun spend.. den it was off to starbucks for coffee and chit chatting session.. as some of u all might have already known.. there were certain issues to settle.. being the people in the middle.. we decided not to interfere and let things take its course.. those things i never noticed for the past few weeks/months/years.. yet im glad i managed to see thru that person's true colours now.. better late den never i guess..

tues: drove to sch yet again.. lunch with the babes after lect.. this time cheryl was there too.. haven seen her in a bit.. :) the journey back was horrible.. was raining so super heavily.. cant see a thing.. could barely make out the 2 red back lights of each car.. n pple started turning on their hazard lights.. yes it was that dark.. n the roads were flooded.. *hugs* baby six.. must have been tough on u..
took a nap onli to wake up in horror that my parent's flight was pushed forward by half an hour.. rushed to the airport.. grabbing my new love along.. lucky thing my parents werent out when i got there.. so there i was.. indulging in my new found love.. waiting for my parents...
presentation preparation totally sucks.. gonna skip tmr's 8 am lect to prep myself up.. *keep morale high!!* n guess wad.. i get to drive to sch tmr! yippee~ the last final day of my time with baby 6.. after which it aint mine totally animore.. sob.. but not too bad.. petrol consumption over the past 5 days was about slightly more than 1/2 tank.. :)
baby six has been my great pal for the past few days.. to sch.. to holland v.. to church.. to town.. back home... hee i wish i could own her completely...

the low down of JEN's 21st PARTEE!!! :P
word of advice to those organising a party.. prepare way in advance.. party deco takes longer then expected.. lol :P
friday.. mummy picked me from school and we went to the concourse to get party deco.. went back.. took a nap.. totally concussed due to the 4 hour sleep i had the nite b4.. burning mambo music for the party.. doodling on my guestbook.. writing up my pack list.. charging hp, cam etc.. basically pre party prep...
awoke 2 hours later to start packing up all my stuff n den heading down to the chalet.. mummy was busy preparing all the BBQ stuff in the afternoon.. she's more zai den me.. lol.. so settled down.. started the fire n soon my relatives came.. forgot to take pictures with them.. *shucks*.. but yeah it was a nice lil get together.. wanni audrey n shuya came too :) so at about 10 or so my relatives left.. and the deco started.. korkor n kris helped pumped balloons.. (yes they were the ones who created the lovely balloon stairs..) whilst me n the gurls started on the putting up some deco.. the lamps, the curly wurly spirals, the streamers.. sounds like easy work.. but no.. by the time that was done.. it was already 1am.. korkor, kris n daddy went home about midnite.. leaving all the ladies in the chalet.. i chased mummy off to bed b4 heading down to mustafa with the gurls to get more deco stuff.. yes we were lacking in quite a bit of things..
the nite drive to mustafa was fun.. all 4 of us in my shiny baby 6.. :) and we saw many trans along changi village! haha exciting or wad!!!! exploration of mustafa was quite the adventure.. haha haven been to ah neh land b4!!! picked up stufs we needed.. n i even found a boa! heh so fun.. spent like 40 bucks there.. so back we went to the chalet and it was 3am.. shuya dearie drew n cut out the letters for 'the party's here' sign board.. while wanni fell asleep.. lol.. me n audrey did the colourful letters that spelt J-E-N.. and we cut out colourful cellophane paper to be pasted over the lights.. creating the ultimate retro effect.. haha all of us concussed about 5 plus..
the BIG day: us gurls woke up at 10 coz wanni's mummy came to fetch.. n pass mi the agar-agar.. (it's so so pretty! :) ) wanted to invite aunty in for coddee but she had to rush off.. aud n shuy stayed back to help mi complete the deco.. grandma, erlene and mummy helped with the balloons.. and mi aud n shuya pasted the cellophane over the lights, put up the retro beaded cutrains, my name and the purple board.. we den started on the balloon arch at the main door.. goodness knows how mani balloons burst in our faces.. the lousy ah-neh brand.. blahz...
and.. pretty pink flowers came in the morning!!!! from sq baby!!! :) heh.. thanks dearie.. they're like the loveliest flowers i've ever received!!!!
at about 1pm.. the deco was FINALLY done.. n i sent shuya n aud out to tampines mall.. here comes the story of the MAD rider.. there's this crazy guy who tailgated me.. so close his whole face took up my whole mirror!!! like wtf.. want to die also not like that rite.. considering i was going bout 90 along loyang ave.. if i braked a lil.. that guy will fly man!! urgh.. cant stand such people.. after 'diao'ing him goodness-knows-how-many times.. i released my accelerator.. letting my speed drop to 60 or so.. forcing him to overtake me.. which in the end he finally did.. omg.. what kinda people are these?? come out from army camp den wan to die already lar.. relaxing lar!
so anyway dropped the girls, picked mummy up from changi village n headed back to the chalet for lunch.. mummy went back home to get stuff.. i took a short nap.. when i woke the lovely balloon arch was gone!! :( the stupid heat from the sun burst almost all the balloons! urgh.. quickly went to buy more balloons.. the caterer came.. settled it on my own as mummy wasnt back yet.. sigh.. when mummy was back.. she helped mi put up balloons at the bus stop and we put up the signage too (courtesy of audrey babe).. once all this was done.. i went to take a shower.. maki was the earliest! followed by xuan jie.. den shuya n wanni came.. den daniel daniel.. eunice n siying came.. caleb.. diving buddies.. n the rest just streamed in about 8.. weijie came.. which was a lovely surprise for me as he told me he's not coming.. aniwae if u're reading this.. wj.. i hope u're feeling better.. dec told me about it.. *hugz* cheer up k! :)
was busy all nite long fluttering from group to group.. entertaining my frens.. hope i wasnt such a lousy host.. n hope you all enjoyed urselves! :) thanks to those who were like eh relax babe.. sit down n rest.. heh..
cake cutting was quite the experience.. smiled for dunno how mani photos.. from sentosa vball frens to tao nan to cedar to veejay to nus life sci babes to diving frens to BLAST! peeps.. haha but it was great fun.. i felt like a star.. everyone lurved the choc fudge cake! :P couldnt really eat the cake in peace though.. haha but thanks william for holding my cake for me..
my blast frens switched off the lights and started boogeying inside the chalet.. n my funky mama joined in the action too!! haha i obviously wasnt spared.. was sabo-ed to perform my mambo moves standing on the chair.. bleahz.. den i had 'special' performances by jackjack n mr kong.. haha hilarious or wad.. my blast peeps just made the party a whole lot more happening!! :P
people started to leave about 11 plus.. finally got the chance to sit down n play indian poker with my life sci girls n a few diving frens n a few blast frens at like 1am.. heh da-ed a cup of baileys with adam kor n another vodka vanilla with daniel daniel.. opened all my pressies too! indian poker was changed to heart attack.. haha super fun or wad.. someone tried hitting me but ended up hitting the table damn hard.. haha lol.. but it was damn fun lar.. hee.. dawn, adam n jon were the last to leave.. jo n daniel stayed over.. packed up n finally showered.. twas 5am.. yet again.. haha daniel concussed on his bed.. whilst me n jo squeezing on the other were talking n catching up.. :P
thanks to all my frens who called to wish me happy birthday and also for all the bdae sms-es.. haha :) esp to those whom i barely keep in contact with n still bothered to sms.. *big big smile* im glad im still existent in ur lives.. heh
in the morning.. woke up n mi n jo took pictures of all my pressies! hee so fun!! *daniel was still concussing in the room* lol.. it rained all day long.. but mummy said it's good.. showers of blessing.. indicating God raining down His love for me.. and for that moment.. i smiled..
went to church n had family dinner.. den came the biggest shock.. i received an ipod nano~ my goodness.. i finally own one!! though it's white.. n i realli realli realli wanted the black one.. but cant change also lar.. no stock! :( sob.. so i guess i'll just have to make do with this.. heh but really thanks.. i really appreciate the kind gesture.. :)

the aftermath of retro nite..
super tired but it w as damn good!! i love all my frens!! heh thanks all for making the effort to come down and *hugz* to everyone!! everyone made the effort to dress up and i could see retroism in everyone of you all! heh.. :)

it's 4am and im still not sleeping.. been doing my bdae stuffs ever since i came home from work at esp.. mambo music burnt.. guestbook done up and it's ready for everyone's autographs.. (thanks jan for the help todae!!).. planned my route after i end class at 12..
bbq in the evening with a few relatives n my cedar gurlies.. im gonna be MIA this weekend.. anything.. you know the number to call.. :)
nevertheless... there's gonna be a RETRO PARTY ON 15TH OCTOBER THIS SAT AT CHANGI SAF HOLIDAY CHALET! for those invited.. u all noe the block n unit number already.. :) so BE THERE and PARTY ON! ah kow.. mambo session after cutting of cake ok! haha im damn rusty liaoz!!!! :P
was inner door usher for peter pan todae.. it's not that bad lar! everyone say until like so boring like that.. but i quite liked it.. esp the last part when peter pan sprinkled sparkles on us and many many bubbles fell from the ceiling.. so so nice!! :) but.. working at the stalls is no mean feat.. have to be super fast.. super alert and also carry super a lot of booster seats!!! we used 80 tonite!!! moreover there were like 58 latecomers.. when cj walkie-d me.. i panicked man.. have to seat soooo mani pple in the dark.. thankfully everything was quite smooth.. except for 1 minor cock up.. this couple sat at the wrong seat.. thus caused 'double seating'.. fixed the problem during intermission and thankfully there was no harm done.. :) phew.. im still a noob.. cant handle such stuff man.. everyone learns.. n tonite i learn a lot from cj.. this guy realli impressed the shit hell out of me man.. n he has faith in me that i could fix that prob of double seating.. *smiles* thanks man~ work todae was so much more fun.. had the company of jil, mc, uncle b, hz, jen and of coz new frens like chris, cj and th... :) my 'passion' returned.. after the prev unpleasant experience.. some pple can be real bitches.. *shrugs*
meeting my urops prof in like a few hours time.. realli super confused and at a loss.. let's hope the session clears up everything..

haha this entry is specially dedicated to blogging about my party.. afterall.. the past week or so has been revolving around it and so will the next few days until the big day..
been shopping like there's no tmr for quite a number of days.. yet im not bored n tired of shopping yet.. lol.. far east is a good place to find nice clothes.. :) my entire outfit from top to skirt to accessories can all be found there.. and total price is about 100 bucks.. not too bad lar :)
i am happy with my outfit!!! retro or wad!!! woot~
expect a 4100g chocolate fudge cake from france.. haha not directly flown in but the shop's a franchise.. :P super yummy.. yes my cedar girls might get sick of it coz we've had it for all the gang member's bdae.. lol.. den again.. i wan my other friends to try it.. esp the blast peeps ;)
just dug the cupboard for bottles of alcohol (for consumption onli after cutting cake).. n there is no way im gonna get drunk on my bdae.. so pls dun try to knock me out.. i will not agree to da each person 1 glass.. haha coz that's so not fair!!! anihow.. absolut vanilla, sheridan, baileys, red wine... 4 bottles.. i tink that should suffice... haha might throw in another bottle of champagne.. quite a number of alcoholics..
deco.. left streamers n balloons to be bot.. some balloons donated courtesy from maki.. (the remnants of her party.. lol).. other deco stuffs.. packed into a big paper bag by me just 2 hours ago.. look out for balloons at the bus stop~ :)
misc: need to source for extra stools.. if not can be like primary sch n everyone sit on the floor.. haha.. need to buy mosquito coil coz adam's fan club of mosquitoes will be there.. hence endangering the lives of my guests.. haha.. mambo music yet to be burnt.. need jan dearie's help to deco my guestbook.. :)

tiring weekend...
finally done with my project.. n handed it up.. heh :)
fri: lab was super duper ultra boring.. thankfully i had pple like jobyna n johnny to make it more interesting.. super crappy talk cock session with them.. haha we were so bored until jobyna suggested going clubbing that nite.. n yah i broke the clubbing break i made but well breaks made by me are means to be broken! haha.. :P
so jio-ed some frens to coco latte that nite.. me, job, greg+mel, jap, shaun, jackson and justin.. heh.. free entry into coco! bouncer was in a good mood i guess.. crowd was older den usual.. music wasnt that great but the company was great.. shuan's first time clubbing too! haha.. downed flaming n submarine.. and the usual housepours.. 4 jugs shared among like 3 of us.. the rest barely drank.. i drank more then the guys! haha but somehow after so much 'drinking experience'.. i still feel i cant hold my alcohol well.. but... definitely much better den b4.. i rem feeling drunk after just a lil bit of vodka ribena sq mixed for me over at his place a yr back.. lol.. i was so lousy den man... met some vj frens there too.. ok not frens.. pple from my batch who amazingly knew my class.. haha me on the other hand never saw them in my life b4.. lol.. and there was this guy in black (read: stranger) happily hugging the pole n dancing.. so so hilarious.. i couldnt stop laughing.. haha anyhow.. no more cute waiter.. sob.. oh n i saw amanda too!! haha..
embarrassing moment.. i shouldnt be blogging about this but wad the heck.. unglam funny moments should be shared.. i sat on the toilet floor and showered! haha coz my headache was really bad n i couldnt stand properly to shower.. hahahaha den after the shower i immediately went to my bed to concuss... hahasat: with barely 5 hours of sleep.. i met celia after her field trip to east coast.. started shopping at 12 at ps.. all the way to heeren.. taka.. far east.. we shopped like mad women until 11 pm!!! that's 11 hours of non stop shopping! and it's REALLI non stop can! we din eat.. except for fried mars bar which we shared.. omg that's sooooo yummy lar.. u all should go n try it.. but it's super sinful! and yah just basically shopped shopped shopped all day long.. maki joined us from like 1 plus to 5.. den she had to rush off for her proj.. wanted to have marche tog one.. but in the end the plan failed.. sob.. i wan to eat rosti n crepes!! haha
met wm a lil while after that as he was in the area.. baby blue honda jazzzz... lol
sun: lack of sleep yet again.. woke up at 8 for church.. den came home to change n get ready for ushering duty at 1230.. today's show was peter pan.. got ticket tripper.. heh not too bad it's quite fun actualli.. though i would have preferred inner door usher.. kana scolded by jasmine for sitting on the table.. sigh.. but realli very tired wad! oh well.. shirleen had earli dismissal so i was left alone most of the time.. the 2 audreys who were baggage check basically talked among themselves n ignored my existence.. fine by me.. i saw their faces when jasmine was reprimanding mi n shirleen lor.. that smug look on their faces.. thanks ar.. i dun need it.. but i cant be bothered.. pretend din see n act normal.. but im realli glad i got to partner shirleen todae.. she's realli nice and easy to talk to.. :)
went cake shopping after that.. finally i've decided.. im gonna get the taka cake.. dun care already.. haha im quite tired of all this cake searching.. no design den no design.. but the cake's realli realli good.. im sure all my frens will lurve it..
din go for cuzzie'z bdae dinner in the end.. realli too tired.. came back to rush my protein lab report due tmr.. thanks priya n janet for helping me out.. :) time to sleep.. it's another 6 hr freaking protein prac tmr.. urgh... n after that it's down to town for cake shopping n top shopping! yes.. i finally found my retro outfit!!! woot~

Rag and Flag 2005 - Clarification
The Rag and Flag 2005 Organising Committee will like to make the following clarifications.
A review of the results for NUS Centennial Rag & Flag 2005 has shown that NUS Students' Business Club should be the rightful winner for the NUS President's Challenge Shield for the category of Best Flag Day Collection For Faculty Clubs. However , NUS Students' Science Club remain the winner of the NUS Chancellor's Shield for the category of Overall Winner for Faculty Club.
We apologise for the mistake and extend a congratulatory note to the winning parties of the Rag & Flag awards.
