my first post for june!
june 1: celebrated our monthly anni by doing nothing much.. heh baby brought me to a chi restaurant for buffet.. den we drove to some airport to see planes.. onli had 2 parked planes and a medi-copter.. the pilot was around so we were priviledged to be shown the inside of that medi-copter.. so chio.. so sophisitcated :)
june 2: he was working almost all day.. den he cooked dinner for us.. just another day
june 3-4: drove up to chicago with baby, kaibei, jiahao or more commonly known as ac*dfla*k.. and andrew and met vanesa and huiwen there.. went around eating good food.. entered a hershey's shop which was huge.. ate white castle (if you'd watched harold and kumar you would ppresumably know wad white castle is..) and popeye's chicken too! got tickets to see a comedy.. super funny altho i din quite catch some of the jokes and baby had to explain them to me.. had fun shopping with huiwen and vanesa.. vanesa's really zai at talking.. den she was telling us things about u chic.. the place i would wanna venture to if i can make it.. super ex sch fees, standard of living etc but i feel it's worth it.. anyhow 1 more yr of undergrad sch first.. somehow hanging around with masters and phd students just make me wanna grow up even finish my studies and settle down even faster..
june 5-6: his childhood fren huiwen came over to urbana to stay with us.. she'll be leaving tmr either back to sg or for her summer camp if she manages to get her paperwork done in time.. nice girl.. had some nice chats with her and all.. just like a lil sis.. haha never had one.. den again i tink i would prefer being the youngest.. heh.. most pampered one.. :) brought her around campus while baby ran his expts.. den we both did his epxts too and got paid.. yay.. money again.. haha did i not mention i spent about 200 usd on the chicago trip.. sianz.. shopping accounted for 1/2 of that..
so it's monday morning now.. the weather is getting hotter and hotter.. it's like there's a heatwave in urbana and it's sooooo hot!! but luckily not humid.. if not it'll just be like singapore.. speaking of which.. i miss my folks back home.. haven called them in 4 days already.. prob will do so tonite when it's their monring.. i have a feeling they're sleeping by now..
quote unquote "game set".. im going to niagara falls and new york! heh.. den going to watch oasis concert.. it's gonna be so fun!! :) i cant wait.. flying all over the place.. but our air tickets were kinda ex.. and the cost of living in nyc is so much higher.. so me n baby decided to stay in the hostels.. cheaper but no private room though.. ah well doesnt really matter anyway..
to all my frens: i'll prob just buy back chocs and stuff for u all.. realised i din bring enuff for my survival in the states.. nonetheless if i see something that's really nice i'll get them for you :) missing you all loadz too.. esp my blast peepz.. so many events whilst im gone.. so many competitions.. would just like to say all the best for the performances and competitions coming up and i'll be with u guys and girls in soul n spirit! :)
