sorry for the serious lack of updates.. everyday's been like this mad rush.. haha actually not really.. but yah im having a great time.. den thoughts of emigration floods my senseless mind.. but that's not my worry for now..
on friday.. baby, ning ci, mark and me drove up to quad city.. savana IL.. for DRAG RACING! heh.. it's damn fun actualli.. go there see cars.. see them race.. ning ci even raced with his audi tt.. heh i was in baby's baby.. but he din race his car coz baby claimed his car is not good enuff.. heh.. oh well.. din get the chance to sit in a race and get first hand experience.. but watching from the stand is good enuff.. the weather was freezing.. we reached quad city about 1 am.. about 2 1/2 hours drive from chambana.. the whole nite was a blast.. altho i wished that it wouldnt end so soon so baby could have raced ning's car twice.. once with ning and the other time with me inside the car.. but there were too many cars that nite.. so tough luck.. keep your eyes posted on my photoblog for pics.. will be up soon.. i just dun have the time to sit down n downsize my photos.. heh the racing ended bout 4am.. after which the 4 of us tog with 2 of ning's frens went to Denny's for supper/bfast.. one of ning's fren is damn funny lar.. heh was laughing all the time.. n one thing that impressed me.. he make his own parts for his car.. i take my hat off to him..
on a personal note.. to my BABY.. thanks dear for looking after me the whole nite.. the hot chocolate.. the teeshirt altho in the end we din buy it cos there was no xs (yes im an xs in the states.. if pple like candy goes there.. she wun have anithing to buy! haha maybe kids clothes.. *no offence maki!*).. but all those little little things u did for me.. i deeply appreciate.. :) thanks for being just you..
sat: reached back to baby's place at bout 830am.. that poor thing must be damn tired after another 2 hours drive back home.. i tried my best to keep talking to him so that he wun fall asleep.. but talking for 2 hours.. haha not that easy.. n lousy me dozed off 2 times in the car.. argh.. *slaps myself*.. anyhow we had a good good sleep and in the evening we went out for dinner.. caught madagascar after dinner too and i had chocolate milkshake!! heh oh n we went shopping at old navy!!! heh i bot 2 skirts and a top.. v nice.. :) but damage for all 3 total was bout 36.50 USD so convert convert.. i also dunno how much.. maybe 50 plus? actualli ok lar.. but yah den i got daddy 2 polos and a tee for his bdae n father's day.. baby got 2 tees for himself too.. heh shopaholics!!! :) but im so happy.. shop shop shop.. i can just go shopping everyday!!
sun: baby so nicely drove mi to church and attended mass with me.. it's sooo different.. attending service in another place.. it's like everything's so familiar yet unfamiliar..
we drove down to curtis orchard for apple plucking after mass.. but den bad news came.. the apples were not in season yet!! argh!! they'll onli be open in july.. noooooo i wanna pluck apples!!! i wan apples!!!!! but anihow i got to see some small baby apples.. hope i can get to pluck them b4 i return back to singapore.. heh.. so we went to kfc-a&w for lunch.. the stupid counter person screwed up our orders TWICE.. sigh.. but yah.. at least i got to eat a&w after a long long while!! heh.. root beer float!!! so yummyyyy.... but i din get the float though.. just root beer.. and it was divided into draft n the normal root beer.. so you get to decide how much of wad to put.. and it's refillable! heh.. went home after that for a well deserved nap.. heh den we went to cook dinner.. CURRY! helped baby cut the veggies.. while he cut the chicken.. den i cooked rice too but it was a bit too hard.. sigh.. but yah it's damn yummy.. i love it! heh..
baby brought me to jarling's for the best custard cream! it's like ice cream but not quite.. so yummy lar.. haha.. i'll bug him again to bring me there to eat.. :P but i cant eat too much already.. getting fat.. hee
went over to kai bei's place after that..den we played cards (a new game called russian holden i tink.. and also bridge..) and watched nba.. felt a bit weird being in a household where 4 guys stay.. haha it's like i've entered the life of 4 bachelors.. but yah the house was neat and all.. and boy there was damn a lot of alcohol.. heh..
monday: memorial day!!! heh went to Aunt Sonja's for breakfast tog with baby n his frens.. angela, yinyi, serena, jiahao, andrew, melvin, and see wee.. pancakes! heh.. they were so yummy.. :) but so sad aunt sonjas closing down already.. like in 2 hours time.. sob.. oh n the toiles were real cute.. for the ladies the door was labelled aunts and for the guys, uncles.. heh.. went to beckman with baby and read my anelgs and demons as he ran 2 subjects for his experiment.. den we went home to eat the remaining curry.. heh.. slurp.. :) about 9 plus.. kaibei and jermyn came over to sq's place.. den we all crossed the road and walked over to weilik's place for MAHJONG!!! haha.. set up 2 tables.. the other table consisting of rachel, weilik, daniel and dunno-what-his-name-is.. heh.. but yah i had fun.. played one round and went back around 1 plus coz baby had work the next day.. if we played 10-20 cents.. i would have won 2.60.. haha but we converted down to 1-2 penny.. so yah effectively i onli won 26 cents.. not enuff for anithing even.. haha den again it's all in the name of fun :)
tues: baby went to work while i slept in.. and now im at his research place while he's running a subject.. 3 subjects today.. and we're going out after that.. i need to buy earrings.. the stud for my 2nd ear hole fell out.. crap.. i scared it closes!
yeah i promise i'll post up pics when i've downsized them.. they're so much more interesting den my boring account.. hee~
